I,David,live very close to the Island Koh Phanang.We have,already, so many healing centers on Koh Samui it is astounding.My favorite one is owned by a American, called Guy.He has been here very long and a practicing Buddhist.He now has two but I like the one by the sea.Detox,for one week,is $250 bucks,not cheap,and I know from my past experiences in America enough, I can do it my self.I do like to dine there,though,excellent food.He has also set up a week long free meditation retreat with english speaking Monk's from Buddahadasa Bhikkhu's Watt(Temple) that is a hour away on a ferry in Surat Thani,and brings them over once a month.Your basically a monk for a week with lots of meditation and question's and answers.I have not done it yet but I will.Peace,David p.s.Buddhadasa died in 1993 but revoutionized buddism in Thailand profoundly!
